The City of Grand Prairie has officially confirmed a Carter BloodCare Blood Drive at the Farmers Market on Saturday, August 22 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The Carter BloodCare bus will be onsite at Market Square while the Farmers Market is underway.
That means you can spend your Saturday morning supporting local vendors while also having an opportunity to help patients who need blood.
According to the city's event announcement, donors will receive special incentives as a thank-you for participating.
The city recommends reserving an appointment for the blood drive.
Explore Downtown Grand Prairie While You're There
Don't necessarily leave as soon as you're finished shopping.
The Farmers Market is located at Market Square in Historic Downtown Grand Prairie, giving you an opportunity to walk around downtown and explore more of the area while you're there.
