You’ve Got This: Welcome to Savage Dallas

You’re now part of something wild: mud, fire, grit, obstacles, and the kind of empowerment you can’t get from a treadmill. On October 11, 2025, in Grandview, Texas at the Beaumont Ranch / 10736 County Road 102 venue, Savage Race returns to Dallas for its full spectacle.
Choose your battle:
Full Course: about 5–7 miles with ~27 obstacles
Blitz Course: faster, with 3+ miles and 15-20 obstacles
There’s also a SavagePRO wave and Ruck division options.
You’ll tackle classic obstacles, new 2025 challenges (Colossus, Sawtooth, and more) in mud, sweat, and possibly fire.
Mindset Before You Cross the Line
1. Expect chaos. Things won’t go perfectly. You’ll slip, get stuck, maybe help or be helped. That’s part of the journey.
2. Strategy > brute force. Pick your battles - if a grip obstacle drains you, move smartly, save for the next.
3. Embrace the community. Teams, strangers helping strangers, cheers - that energy carries you far beyond what you think is possible.
4. You’re already a winner. Registering, training, showing up - that’s more than many ever do.
Race‑Prep Tips (Final Countdown)
Race Strategy & Tactics
Start smart: Don’t burn all your energy pushing at the gun. Let waves clear.
Obstacle triage: Identify ones you can nail, ones you should skip, ones to spend time on.
Use momentum: When running between obstacles, push pace to build confidence and calm fatigue.
Support others: When you help someone over a wall, they’ll likely help you later.
Fuel on course: Use gels, electrolytes, small sips; don’t wait until you’re depleted.
Recovery between segments: Shake arms, loosen grip, deep breaths - reset yourself mentally.
After the Finish (But Before You Rest)
Don’t stop immediately. Walk for a few minutes to let your heart and muscles adjust.
Stretch & roll: Focus on legs, hips, forearms, shoulders.
Refuel: Protein + carbs within ~30 min helps recovery.
Celebrate, document: Take photos, share your story.
Reflect & plan forward: What worked, what didn’t? Use this experience to build your next goal.
