If you want to get more out of your workouts, having the right gym partner can make a huge difference.


1. Make your workouts more fun.

Working out with a partner brings in a source for different workouts. Workout partners can introduce you to newer and different exercises. You might not enjoy some exercises, but others might just be the right one that you could incorporate into your workouts. Its also a great way to challenge yourself when you get used to your own workout ritual.

2. You'll work harder.

A workout partner can help you push harder during workouts. The simple thought that you might need push harder because you're working out with a friend can lead to increased intensity and calories burned.

3. It keeps you accountable.

There's always going to be days where you simply want to lay in bed and watch t.v. all day. Workout partners are useful in more ways than one because they keep you from skipping the gym.

4. Its safer.

Whether its running outside or lifting weights in the gym, a partner makes workouts safer. We've all seen fail videos online, such as people failing on a lift and dropping it on themselves. Partners can keep you from getting injured when you're lifting in the gym. If you're running outdoors, doing so with a partner or a group of friends is a great way to safe.

5. The time goes by faster.

Whenever you're working out by yourself, sometimes a minute can feel like its taking ages to go by. Workout partners can help the time go by much faster. The ability to talk to someone in between sets can be a huge factor in helping the workout go by fast and smoothly.
