1. Plan Ahead
Research the event: Check the start time, location, parking, and what’s allowed (coolers, pets, chairs, etc.).
Reserve spots early: Some venues or parks fill up fast, especially fireworks shows or concerts.
Pack accordingly: Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, a portable charger, ID, and cash (some vendors don’t take cards).
2. Dress Smart
Lightweight, breathable clothes.
Closed-toe shoes if you'll be walking or standing a lot.
Bring a light jacket or blanket—nights can cool off after sunset.
3. Beat the Heat
Bring a hat and sunglasses.
Use a misting fan or cooling towel.
Stay hydrated—especially if you’re drinking alcohol.

Foldable chairs, picnic blankets, or a tarp for the ground.
If going to a park, add an umbrella or pop-up shade if allowed.
6. Know Where Everything Is
Locate restrooms, water refill stations, and emergency services when you arrive.
7. Be Firework-Safe
Don’t get too close.
Protect your ears (especially kids') with earplugs or noise-canceling headphones.
